This study is to help us better understand the relationship between social media use and feelings of loneliness and social isolation. To do this, we need to collect social media data from which we will remove all identifying information using a computerized program. We will then use another computerized program to better understand what interactions on social media might make teens feel more supported or lonely. To do this, we are looking for participants who are willing to donate their social media data to us.
Do you fall within the age range of 13-21? Then you may be eligible to participate in this phase of our newest study about social media use and loneliness.
